Vintage SKI and Travel Posters

"Kilimanjaro is a snow-covered mountain 19,710 feet high, and is said to be the highest mountain in Africa. Its western summit is called by the Masai "Ngàje Ngài," the House of God. Close to the western summit there is the dried and frozen carcass of a leopard. No one has explained what the leopard was seeking at that altitude." Hemingway

Iv used this quote before but as i get myself ready for my first ski trip in some time , i thought it was quite poignant! I defiantly know what ill be seeking when i hit the lofty heights of Shiga Kogen ski resort  Yamanouchi, Nagano,Japan and thats pure hedonism.

Been collecting these beautiful old ski and travel posters for a while so thought colligate them on here.

Roads

As my knees start to seize from the lowering temps and the cold rainy days seem never ending my thoughts are on  ROADS and the utter shit ones I'm surrounded by. Although to be honest the scenery in the north west of England is impressive in parts but what lets it down is the road surface itself. Snake bit punchers were a regular occurrence last winter as my back tyre seems to excel in finding the many pot holes littering the roads. England Councils forget about looters, riots and fucking public transport just fill the pot holes you cunts
L'Alpe d'Huez, Col du Galibier i will cycle this before i die and maybe doing it!
